Brahim Aslimani, CEO of PAF in Spain, has been elected as the new president of Bet on Ceuta, the association that brings together online gaming operators with a presence in the autonomous city.
Aslimani replaces Rebeca Chacón, Executive Director of Evoke, following a meeting where members addressed the reorganization of the board of directors and the incorporation of new companies. Additionally, Agustín Alba from Pastón joins the team as treasurer.
The new president has established a tone of continuity regarding the previous stage. "It is not a very radical change, but rather about continuing to develop the work that was already being carried out and reinforcing it," Aslimani stated.
Among the objectives of the new board is the recovery of agreements with hospitality, leisure, and sports companies to offer benefits to sector workers, as well as greater dialogue with public administrations. Aslimani noted that several initiatives are being prepared and will be presented soon, although he avoided giving specific details.
Online gaming already represents 12% of Ceuta's GDP and employs more than 1,200 workers in the city, consolidating itself as one of the pillars of its local economy.
