Bally's Corporation has announced the appointment of Bobby Lavan as its new CFO, replacing Steve Capp.
Bally's Corporation has explained that Capp will leave the business to pursue other interests and opportunities and will continue to support Bally's through the end of April.
Bobby Lavan has been Senior Vice President of Finance and Investor Relations at Bally's since May 2021.
We should note that he was previously CFO at Turning Point Brands and spent time at General Wireless Operations. He was also an investment analyst for Standard General and a portfolio manager at J. Goldman & Co.
Referring to his appointment, Lavan emphasizes continuing the "transformation into a global omni-channel gaming leader."
Bally's chief executive Lee Fenton highlights Lavan's experience in "successful acquisitions and integration initiatives" which will undoubtedly contribute to the expansion and financial goals set and said: "I am excited to work with Bobby on the Gamesys integration , streamlining our financial reporting, and executing our broader financial strategy to create further shareholder value”.
