Petra de Ruiter, new CEO of Holland Casino

Petra de Ruiter will take over from Erwin van Lambaart, who resigned a month ago to take over as chairman of the board of Casinos Austria.

Holland Casino notes that Petra has worked in various positions at Air France-KLM and Transavia since 1998. In her current role at Transavia, she is responsible for all business operations, along with the CEO and CFO. Specifically, the entire day-to-day operation, including security at Transavia, falls under her responsibility.

On her appointment, Petra de Ruiter said: “Hospitality is in the DNA of all Holland Casino employees, a crucial and distinctive value, which is also vital in my current job. Whether online or in person, all visitors simply want to feel seen, heard and valued.”

On the other hand, Willem Bröcker, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Holland Casino, commented: “Petra de Ruiter's experience and knowledge in the specific combination of guest experience and operational excellence is an excellent match for the person we were looking for after the departure of former CEO Erwin van Lambaart. With our 14 offices and now also online, we work in a highly regulated sector and operate in a complex field.”

As of September 1, Holland Casino's Board of Directors consists of Petra de Ruiter (Chief Executive Officer), Ruud Bergervoet (Chief Financial Officer) and Malinda Miener (Chief Compliance Officer).

Petra de Ruiter's appointment is subject to review and positive decision by DNB.
