SIS will sponsor a handicap race on the El Derby Day meeting at Valparaíso Sporting in Viña del Mar, Chile on February 5th.
The undercard handicap race immediately before the Clásico El Derby will carry the SIS name, further bolstering a long-established partnership with historic Valparaiso Sporting Club, which is the oldest track in Latin America having been founded in 1882.
The El Derby Day is a true national festival with 30 races and attendance of over 150.000 people. Modeled after the English Derby, it's the country's main Group One classic race and is the thrid and final race of Chile's National Triple Crown, taking place after El Ensayo and St Leger Clásicos.
In total, we now delivers more than 35.000 live horse racing events each year, including premium races from Argentina, Chile, Mexico and Uruguay.
