The Gauselmann Group has announced that, initially for one year, it will be the new main sponsor of the Rot-Weiß Koblenz football team, which participates in the Regionalliga Südwest, the fourth-tier league in Germany.
According to the Gauselmann Group, the MERKUR sun will shine on the chest of the football club of Koblenz, an ancient city located in central Germany.
This is a new action in support of sport by the German giant, which has been supporting numerous amateur and professional clubs that are not in the center of attention of the main media.
In this regard, Chris Noll, sports director, thanked the group for the support in the midst of the current difficult situation, in which he admits that it isn't easy to find a main sponsor.
On the other hand, from the Gauselmann Group, Dieter Kuhlmann, a member of the gaming operations board, commented:
