The French casino group Barrière is facing the biggest crisis in its history and, after more than 150 days of closure in its exclusive establishments, it estimates that the revenue losses for the 2019-2020 financial year reach € 200 million.
According to the Barrière group, until October 31, 2020, their operations have decreased by 28%, and they highlight that beyond casinos their services are recognized in tourism, catering and entertainment in general.
Consequently, and as we have recently published, the group has announced that they must carry out a restructuring which will imply 60 dismissals for now, but it is expected that this number will continue to rise.
