MERKUR SPORTWETTEN has reported that its product team has split into two different departments. More specifically while the “Digital Operations” team focuses on the commercial success of the digital business and supports COOs with digital growth in individual markets, the “Technology and Delivery” team focuses on the provision of high-quality, customer-oriented products.
The company has reported that Andy Bentley, Director of the Digital Operations Team, has a responsibility to increase the growth of the online business, provide first-class customer service and define the online product range.
On this new position, he commented: “As a team, we have a clear vision: to create the best omnichannel experience across Europe. I'm very excited to be a part of this vision and to accompany MERKUR SPORTWETTEN on this journey as well as to drive it forward”.
On the other hand, Adam Lomax, new Director of Technology and B2C Delivery, has overseen the development of MERKUR SPORTWETTEN products since July 1, 2021. On this restructuring, he highlights: “Splitting up the product team enables us to respond to the needs of our customers and business partners in an even more targeted and effective way. This presents an exciting opportunity to reshape the way MERKUR SPORTWETTEN drives international growth”.
Finally, Markus Ettlin, MERKUR Sportwetten administration spokesperson, underlines: “The new structure within our product team provides valuable resources and a more targeted focus on developing our online business”.
