The Merkur Spielbanken casinos in Saxony-Anhalt, part of the Gauselmann Group, achieve recertification from the Global Gambling Guidance Group (G4), another sign of the operator's commitment to responsible gaming.
It should be noted that Merkur Spielbanken was the first to undergo the G4 certification process in 2015. On this occasion, G4 thoroughly inspected the company's casinos in Saxony-Anhalt, with Merkur's three venues in Leuna, Magdeburg and Halle all completing the certification process with no major objections.
Regarding this new achievement, Jan Kowala, Head of the Central Prevention Department of the Gauselmann Group, highlights that this recertification "is the confirmation by independent, external experts that our extensive prevention measures are mature in terms of quality and are being diligently applied in practice”.
In addition to verifying compliance with all legal requirements, the independent G4 Commission review also uses strict standards to examine internal company guidelines and measures, such as employee training and access control.
On the other hand, Knuth Achilles, director of Merkur Spielbanken in Saxony-Anhalt, comments that this certification demonstrates the excellent implementation of protection measures for users, as well as the excellent management of training throughout the business group.
