The Racing League and William Hill have confirmed that the operator will be a betting partner for the 2022 competition, which represents the league's second event since it opened in 2021.
The Racing League underlines that the competition will feature teams of racehorse trainers and jockeys representing seven regions of Great Britain and Ireland, who will battle it out over six matches.
Racing League will start on August 4, 2022 and will take place at Doncaster Racecourse. The tournament will feature a total of 42 races, with teams scoring based on their finishing position.
The prizes of the event amount to 2.3 million euros in cash prizes for the winners. Within the categories are: best team, as well as the rider who accumulates the most points in the entire event.
Racing League CEO Jeremy Wray said of the sponsorship: “In total, 125 trainers have signed up to take part, in regional teams this year, which we hope will create a competition that is equally as compelling for racing fans and punters. . William Hill is, of course, a well-known and longtime supporter of racing in this country, and we are delighted to welcome them back to the Racing League.”
