Flutter Entertainment announced the appointment of Steve Hawkes as the new Head of Reputation and Public Affairs in the UK and Ireland.
Flutter noted that Steve Hawkes will join the company in August from public affairs agency BCW Global, where he has been senior director of strategic media communications since 2019.
Previously, for 20 years he worked as a business and political reporter for the prestigious newspapers The Sun, The Times and The Daily Telegraph.
On his appointment, the former reporter commented: “Flutter operates some of the world's most popular sports betting and gaming brands, including Betfair, Paddy Power and SkyBet, and is committed to leading the way in player protection and safer gambling. I can't wait to get started.”
