Scientific Games has announced a transition within its financial leadership team. Nick Negro, the company’s current Chief Financial Officer, will leave the business on May 15, 2026, after three years in the role, during which he contributed to a period of growth for the group. According to information released by Scientific Games, Negro is pursuing a new professional opportunity in Chicago, allowing him to be closer to his family.
To ensure continuity during the transition process, Scientific Games has appointed Ray Anderson as interim Chief Financial Officer, effective May 4, 2026, while the company begins the search for a permanent finance executive.
Pat McHugh, CEO of Scientific Games, thanked Nick Negro for his contribution and highlighted his role in strengthening the company’s finance and procurement functions. According to McHugh, Negro helped position Scientific Games for continued growth.
Ray Anderson takes on the interim role with more than 30 years of global financial experience and CPA accreditation. His career includes senior leadership positions at KPMG across the United States, Europe and Asia. Most recently, he served as Global Lead Partner, advising Fortune 500 companies on audit, capital markets and regulatory strategy. He also led KPMG’s Pacific Southwest audit practice for six years.
McHugh stated that Anderson is a finance executive with extensive international experience advising large and complex organizations and expressed confidence in his ability to support both the business and the finance department during this transition period.
