The Gauselmann Group has funded massive tests to detect possible cases of COVID-19 among employees at its headquarters in Espelkamp and Lübbecke. In this regard, the group highlights that despite the high number of employees (more than 2000) there have been approximately 12 positive cases.
Paul Gauselmann, founder and CEO of the company, highlights that this strategy has been very effective in curbing infections not only in the company but in the region.
The group also highlights that in order to carry out this action they have had cooperation with the laboratory of the Johannes Wesling Clinic in Minden and the rapid tests previously acquired, which allow obtaining results in just 25 minutes.
On the other hand, Ilka-Diana Kaufmann, personnel manager of the plant in Lübbecke highlighted that the application of tests and monitoring of positive cases has allowed them to know that infections in the group's facilities are almost zero, which proves that Infections come mainly from the private environment.
For her part, Caroline Hohmeyer, from the Gauselmann Group's health administration team, reported that if necessary, employees receive vouchers for PCR tests and in the event of a positive finding, contact monitoring is initiated without the need to wait for the department of health, which allows to prevent chains of contagion in an effective way.
Likewise, Hohmeyer stressed that thanks to a cooperation agreement with the Johannes Wesling Clinic, it will be possible for a mobile test team to arrive at the company's headquarters if necessary and carry out tests to determine in minutes if there are infected employees.
