Paralympic Games winner Valentin Baus has visited the Gauselmann Group to participate as a guest speaker at the "Basic Leadership" seminar at Schloss Benkhausen and spoke about motivation and goal setting.
It should be noted that Valentin Baus, winner of the gold medal in singles table tennis at the 2021 Paralympic Games in Tokyo, is one of the elite athletes supported by the Gauselmann Group through TEAM 2021 Düsseldorf.
The founder of the company, Paul Gauselmann, was impressed by the career of the professional athlete, as well as by his unconditional will to achieve the objectives set. In this regard, he commented “If you develop passion for something and always have the goal in mind, you can achieve a lot in life. That applies to both sports and professional careers”.
During the activity, the different facets of motivation and self-motivation were intensively discussed. In particular, the ability not to be discouraged by setbacks and not to lose sight of the goal despite all resistance. In this sense, Baus gave a clear message: "Love for something, in my case for sport, absolute ambition and belief in oneself are important factors to be successful."
