Gauselmann Group celebrates the inauguration of its new administrative facilities in Espelkamper Merkur-Allee. A spectacular building 20 meters high, with a surface area of 7,000 square meters and a total cost of 14.5 million euros.
As reported by the Gauselmann Group in a press release, the new facilities will be able to house around 300 jobs and, furthermore, it is a sign of confidence in a strong economic future despite all the challenging circumstances of the present.
In this regard, Paul Gauselmann, founder and CEO of the Gauselmann Group, has been "proud of the new building and the excellent working conditions we offer our employees".
He also adds that having made the decision to move forward with construction two years ago was a great challenge, but today it has been shown that it was the right thing to do.
Lars Reichel, technical director of the Gauselmann Group's real estate division, reported that the 42-meter-long, 42-meter-deep building has a courtyard of approximately 13 by 13 meters that extends from the ground floor to the fourth floor, which provides a pleasant atmosphere with large windows as a source of natural light. Ecological green roofs complete the concept.
It has few interior walls to promote increasingly agile, flexible and project-oriented work. However, there is always the option of retiring to special cubicles for meetings or concentrated work.
Additionally, the Gauselmann Group highlights that it is a state-of-the-art building in terms of energy and has soft, indirect light for a pleasant atmosphere inside.
In this way, to ensure that as little energy as possible is consumed, highly efficient heat pumps are used. Heat recovery systems ensure that as little energy as possible is supplied to the building and should be used at times of peak load.
Also, for sustainability reasons, the temperature is linked to whether or not the employees are in the rooms. The fresh air supply in open work areas is also automatically regulated.
The mayor of Espelkamp, Dr. Henning Vieker, praised the new building and said: "On this day, the sun really shines on Espelkamp."
Along these lines, he commented that it is another sign of the Gauselmann Group's renewed commitment to the city of Espelkamp and thanked the Gauselmann family for everything they do for the Mühlenkreis district as one of the largest employers in the region.
