Aristocrat Fiscal Year 2023: A 13% Increase in Revenue Compared to 2022

Aristocrat, the industry giant, has unveiled its Fiscal Year 2023 (FY2023) report, spanning from September 2022 to September 2023. During this period, the company successfully accumulated operating revenue of AUD 6.3 billion (USD 4.1 billion), with an EBITDA of AUD 2.1 billion.

The overall results showcase growth in all key metrics. Operating revenue exhibited a commendable 13% increase from FY2022, while earnings per share marked outstanding growth, surpassing 26%. Despite a marginal 1% decrease in stock prices since the previous day's closing, currently at AUD 39.48, Aristocrat's financial health remains robust.

A substantial portion of the FY2023 earnings is attributed to the AUD 143.3 million increase in post-tax profit for the Americas, with North America driving this profit due to Aristocrat's remarkable 26% increase in North American Outright Sales units. The deployment of over 64,000 units in Class III Premium and Class II Gaming Operations contributed to an 8% base growth.

Class III growth was also evident in Asia and Europe. Asia, specifically, experienced significant growth across all gaming sectors following the lifting of many Covid-19 restrictions, with places like Macao witnessing a staggering 400% year-on-year revenue increase in October.

The past year has been marked by numerous partnerships, executive appointments, and product launches for Aristocrat. Notable achievements during the September to September period include the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer and the announcement of Aristocrat as the official slot machine provider for the Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Commenting on the results, Aristocrat CEO and Managing Director Trevor Croker expressed pride, stating, "I'm proud of the high-quality result that we are announcing today. The growth that Aristocrat delivered over the period demonstrates the ongoing resilience, competitiveness, and diversification of our portfolio, and sound fundamentals in the markets in which we operate."
