Certification is part of the federal government's strategy to ensure a safer betting market for Brazilian bettors
The Secretary of Prizes and Bets of the Ministry of Finance, through Order SPA-MF No. 603, dated April 15, 2024, has recognized the operational capacity of the third certifying entity to operate in the Brazilian betting market at the national level: BMM Spain Testlabs SLU.
The recognition process followed the rules established in Order MF/SPA No. 300, dated February 23, 2024, and is part of the federal government's strategy to ensure a safer betting market for Brazilian bettors through the continuous evaluation of compliance with the technical requirements defined in current legislation and by the Secretary of Prizes and Bets of the Ministry of Finance.
BMM Spain Testlabs SLU has had its operational capacity recognized to certify betting systems, live game studios, and online games to be presented by legal entities interested in the commercial exploitation of fixed-odds betting and which will be used by operators authorized by the Secretary.
Thus, there are now three laboratories whose operational capacity has been recognized by the Secretary of Prizes and Bets of the Ministry of Finance for the certification of betting systems and online games: Gaming Laboratories International LLC (Order SPA/MF No. 504, dated March 22, 2024), eCOGRA Limited (Order SPA/MF No. 588, dated April 11, 2024), and BMM Spain Testlabs (Order SPA/MF No. 603, dated April 15, 2024).
